The Inn has secured a place in Berkshire Legend due to the exploits of a former landlord named Jarman. Jarmans infamous crimes are thought to have occurred around the 1300's.The Forge Museum/ Much Hadham

Hidden from view by a wooded area, and reached by a short walk on a bridleway through farmland, lies our location for Hallowe'en '06.

Well, this was a quickly arranged investigation. Teaming up with Bristol Paranormal, the adrenaline was high as we were about to spend the night at an inn that could well be 'England's Most Haunted'.Minsden Chapel & Houghton House 31/10/2007

The chapel has been in ruins for approx 300 years now but still somehow retains the romantic aura that it did back in the 14th century, when it was first built.
